Realizing that Berlina should not be handled only by hand I bought my PC, pads and some new polish and will do my first detail with it this Saturday. Do any of you crafty vets have any last minute suggestions for use on the S? It will be tough for me to mess up my paint, right? I'm just nervous I think...Thanks! Chris

go slow, take your time and don't expect miraculous results off the bat..
but on the other, its NOT hard to screw things up as it doesn't have the power of a rotary

You really can't screw things up with a PC... you'd have to try really hard to. Just start with the least aggressive polish and a mild polishing pad and see if that gets the job done for you. If not, then step up to a more abrasive polish/pad combo.
Work in 2x2 sections, start the PC off at speed 3 or 4 to spread the polish around and then move up to speed 5 or 6. Move the PC slowly across the paint, and don't be afraid to apply a little pressure. Wipe the area with an MF towel and some detailing spray when you're done, and check your work under a halogen or fluorescent light. Each car's paint is different so it might take you a little while to get used to what polish/pad you'll need for any given situation. Personally, I recommend Menzerna or Poorboy's polishes

Make sure you spritz the pad face with a detail spray before every run to lube the pad. Supposedly will guarentee no paint burn even with a rotary.
