In the US, from around 1930 to 1960, vaginal douching with a Lysol disinfectant solution was the most popular form of birth control.
LOL wow

In 30 years current Birth Control pills will be used as Fuel Injector cleaner and we will be tossing them down the Gas Tank.

Well I'll bet it doesn't kill 99.9% of bacteria and I don't believe anything wikipedia says since anyone can go on there and edit anything they want.

Lol, I pulled wikipedia as an example. There are other sites that quote the same thing. It was actually on the history channel as well for a segment they did. I'm not doubting that it'll kill bacteria and everything else. I would not use it for child birth and female hygiene as instructed by lysol though, lol.
