Default Air Fresheners, which do you use?

I was wondering if anyone here uses Air Fresheners. I'd like something that has durability, not that Autozone/Walmart crap.

I use the open air freshener, works great. Is there a smell you are trying to hide? It might help if we knew more.

At first I just wanted a nice scent, but now that you mention it.... When I turn on the AC, it sometimes has a funny smell to it.

Also, at how many miles should the filter be changed?

when i have to use one, i like the products that we all know here- autoglym makes one, for example.
some guys spray it into the air vents, but thats kinda like a short term fix imo- if youre gonna do that, it means to me that the filters should be changed

shop manual says 30k miles for normal conditions and 15k for dusty conditions-
i lean towards the 15k

Kinda hijacking the thread.. but how do you get rid of smokers smell? Just shampoo the carpets/headliner, and clean the seats right? And keep the windows down until the car gets used to "my" smell?

Just wondering because the car I'm buying was a smokers car.. it doesn't bother me too much.. but it bothers my mom.

THanks!
