Default Another Wheel Cleaning Question

Hi, All,

Today, I found tons of road-tar-like stuff on my stock wheels. Some spots look thick and baked on. I tried some WD-40 and it seemed to work, but the tar-like stuff came off very slowly.

Is there anything else more effective I can try? Maybe some heavy duty Bug & Tar Remover?

Thanks.

I think the WD-40 is your best shot, that stuff removes just about anything.

You might want to try a bug and tar remover. It may work better than WD40.

Bug and Tar Removers are the best at this, but be aware that using them will also strip your wax off. Keep this in mind.

Thanks.

I used a bug and tar remover and that did it. However, it took me many applications.
