Default Any tips on applying touch-up paint?

I'm sure there are other posts out there of ppl's cars getting keyed. I got mine keyed and it's very minor so I'm attempting to repair it myself.
Are there any tips on doing this yourself?
Or is it not even worth doing by yourself?

Otherwise, does anyone have any referrals? I'm looking for someone who does quality work for a great price.

suzy s20000-
welcome to w&w!!

can you see any metal at the bottom of the scratch?
got any pics?

depending on how bad it is you might be able to polish it out with a very aggressive polish- more likely that it will take touch up paint...
but first we need to know how bad it is.

Luckily, it's so minor that there are no signs of metal. I tried to buff it out but it's not light enough to buff out. I'll post pics soon.

Thanks!

What did you use to buff it out with? Post those pics when you get a chance--if it's not down to the metal then I can probably help you get rid of the scratch pretty easily (you're pretty local to me)

I'll post pics over the weekend -- this mark is just annoying me now, everytime I look at it, it gets me mad.

No doubt... A co-worker put too good scratches on my passenger door apparently shutting it with her small purse (I'm guessing as she was the one that pointed it out and she was the only one in the car since I last washed it). I know how you feel (especially on the pretty red).

The experienced folks here will be of great help.

(BTW... I was able to polish out my scratches completely.)

As they get filled they tend to blend in very well.
