Best place to buy wheel wax
Hey guys, does anyone know if they sell wheel wax or anything like that at retail stores? like pepboys, wallmart... or something? I have a little mom and pop shop over here that has PC pads and polishes and such but not sure about wheel wax...
I know I can order it online, but I kind of wanted to throw it on before homecoming

Does this stuff actually work? Does it actually repel brake dust? And if so, where does this brake dust go? Does it fly out of the brake pads towards the wheels, stop midair, before finally blinking out of existence?
I hate brake dust...

I have tried:
Wheel wax, CG Wheel Sealant, DP wheel sealant, and PB wheel sealant.
My verdict? SKIP THEM.
Use a REAL sealant on wheels. Jetseal109 is my goto for wheels.

I too have heard the thing about wheel sealants being formulated to withstand the high temperature environment of the wheels. From my own experiences, I am just not sure this is true. I have tried the WheelWax and PB Wheel Sealant. In my opinion, I get better results just putting Zaino Z2 on the wheels. One step further, I have found that Zaino AIO is even better than that at keeping brake dust from adhering.
I don't want to sound like some crazy Zaino-ite here, but I have found that one of its strong suites is in wheel protection.

I used wheel wax, and collinite(3 layers) over them. The only thing i hated about wheel wax was it was a PITA to buff off. Don't apply too much and use a quick detailing spray to get the hard parts off. So far after a week my wheels still look perfect.

There's two factors to consider. Protection and future ease of cleaning.
The product designed to be very slippery may also attract brake dust and dirt but at the same time offer protection to the wheel itself.
As someone has already stated, the perfect product would repel all contaminants away from the wheel which will never happen.
The reasonable solution is a product that holds the dirt and dust above the wheel itself and makes the removal super easy.
IMO the perfect product would allow the wheels to be cleaned with a focused jet of water and would last for a reasonable period of time or (wishful thinking) forever.
