Default best tire dressing

i went to pep boys recently and picked up some black magic foam tire cleaner/dresser in a can. i still wondering if you put this on after you wash your car or during your wash on your wheels? anyone know if this stuff flings off your car too? or is it really nice and leaves a good shine as well?

Put it on after you have washed and dried your car (tires too). I've never used that particular dressing myself, but usually if you let it dry before you drive your car, it shouldn't sling.

Ive used black magic, and all the rest of them. The best one is Meguires tire shine goo (smells like grapes) Lasts forever, doesnt sling, and easy to apply.

P.S. In case any of you are wondering, no, it doesnt taste like grapes. As me how I know.

I've found that both Black Magic and Meguiar's "spit" onto the paint after driving. I prefer Shining Monkey's no-spit tire shine.

yea, the foam black magic tire shine flings onto your car. i waited 24 hours before driving it after applying it, not much flings on, but it still does. Might be a hassle for you, but to me it's whatevers, comes off quick.

Personally, I've never liked any of the spray on tire dressings. I almost always end up getting some either on the wheel or on my driveway. I prefer the gel tire dressings like the aforementioned Meguiar's. You can apply them with a foam applicator like an Eagle One Tire Swipe and it's much less messy.

I use Meguiar's.

For any product, wipe excess product 20 minutes after application. Then there's nothing left to fling.
