Default Bird poop ..

Hey guys, just asking for some advice on how to handle this little problem I have. At my office parking lot there are tons of pigeons who use my car as a damn toilet. What do you guys recomend I do inbetween washes? I would love to get the car detailed or washed every time I get a few hits but that just isnt possible since I get hit at least once a day and if im really lucky .. every other day.

If you catch it soon after it drops, you can use a little Quick Detailer and dab it (don't wipe) with a cotton cloth.

If the stuff bakes in the sun, I'd soak the area for a few minutes with Bug&Tar remover and then wipe carefully with an old microfiber towel. Be sure to keep turning the towel because droppings contain sand and grit that you don't want to rub back into the finish after it's been picked up. I'd rewax the area when done and throw the towel away.

garage...
or car cover!!

gotta be really careful- birds eat sand. sand scratches paint. you never know whats in that bird poop!

mark355 has good advice. you gotta be careful removing it and you need to remove it asap so it doesnt etch. bird poop is also usually acidic. acids eat clear coat after awhile.

back to my first idea- garage or car cover !!

I love Meguiar's Ultimate Detailing Spray, with a nice microfiber towel.

For bird and tree attacks, I use Last Touch (full strength).
