Default Branch dented by trunk!

Today when i went out to the parking lot i found several pieces of broken branch near the end of my car. When i walked closer i saw a deep quarter sized dent on top of my trunk.

My question now is, do i treat the dent the same way as door dings or fender ones?

What are some products that i should give a try?
And if i go to a professional, how much is the average cost for one dent?

Thanks!!

is the paint cracked or chipped?
(if not, it is worth trying the dent repair wizard types)
because this is one of the most visible areas on your car i would leave it to the pros.
btw, first check with your insurance agent on your coverage...

the paint is fine with a few minor scratches that i can probably buff out.

And correction on my earlier post. this is more of a ding than a dent, so its not that big, just a quarter sized ding. But then again, like you said, it is on one of the most visible parts of the car. I guess i'll yellowpage some shops.

And by the way, thanx for the super fast response wanabe! ur awesome!

Chances are you won't be going through your insurance for this. If it's just a "ding" type dent your deductible is likely higher than the repair cost.

Crab apple dented my front fender. Grrr...

And I know it's a typo, but it reminds of "man bites dog, news at 11":

I thought that too, until I read:

found several pieces of broken branch near the end of my car.
I think the branch took more damage than the car. Stookie 1, Tree 0
