Post Brush for Cleaning Leather?

My zaino z9 leather cleaner suggests using a soft brush when scrubbing down the leather. What type of brush would be acceptable in this situation? Also, any tips on using leather cleaner? Do I just do one section at a time? Also, how hard and for how long should I scrub the leather? Thanks

Jim

I used to have something like this, but it was for cleaning dishes. I didnt' like the way it dispensed the cleaning solution.

I have the new Megs all surface interior brush. It says one side is for carpet and one side is for leather, but I just use it for leather as I don't want to risk getting carpet cleaner and lint on my leather. So far, it's worked great.

Thanks for the info, guys.

MikeyC, I was also looking at that Meguiar's brush; however, I have a question. How rough are the carpet cleaning bristles? If they're stiffer, I would be afraid that they would accidently damage my leather as they are on the same plane as the leather cleaning bristles.

Also, can anyone comment on techniques for cleaning the leather? I just want to make sure I'm doing this right.

yeah i know lotsa guys who use brushes on leather...
but i know more who dont!
(the secret is the condition of the leather- leather that is treated properly usually does not require brushing imo. leather that has been at all neglected would benefit by brushing)

this is what i use:

and if you really want a cheap brush- here is one:

The bristles on the Megs brush are fairly stiff. I only use it on very soiled leather or every once in a while for a "deep" cleaning. I agree with Wannabe that on a regular basis there is no need for a brush to clean leather. I just use a microfiber towel most times.
