Buffer Burn
yes.. that is good old rotary burn then. I normally use my rotary with a lighter cutting pad and a lighter cutting compound to prevent from "micro marring" as you have berlina which shows everything. A pro should be able to do that.
But if no rotary, then alternatively, it will take many passes with a porter cable as you want to use a mild FCC SMR with the appropriate pad. Work slowly and in small increments and keep clean and I mean ultra clean pile of mf towels at your disposal.
the compound and pad is now KEY in your repair.
I would experiment in a small area first then continue.
I often use Optimum Compound but I think Poorboys SSR2 and SSR1 is a good start.
remember, its gonna take long so ensure you give it enough time.

Thanks everyone for their help, I'm waiting for my Porter cable to come home to start on my detail.
Plus I will be doing it in my garage and how would I check to see if the burn is gone? I dont want to drive it, in and out the garge everytime to check if its gone or not.
So, is this the step i should start on my car,
Wash, Clay, Swirl remover, Polish and wax?
