Default Bumped the trim with my PC

Was using Poorboy's SSR3 (somewhat aggressive) compound and the Edge green pad...i know i should've taped the driver's door trim but i didn't think i was getting close...so now i noticed the trim is a bit scuffed up...i still have Sonus SFX-2 and SFX-3 yet to go for the final polishes...should i hit the trim with those too? Maybe they'll get the scuffs out?

I wouldn't put the wheel back on that trim. I just made the same mistake myself yesterday...on the exact same spot. Unfortunately, the best thing you can do short of replacing the trim is to cover it up with a dedicated trim restorer. It won't take the scuff away, but it will darken the whole area and take out the "dry" look of the scuff...thus making it harder to notice.

agree- there are plastic polishes out there, but i have never been able to really polish plastics back to new condition- you can make them better, but hard to get back to new

I agree with what everyone has said so far--once you damage the trim, there's really no way to restore it. Learned this lesson a couple times myself...
