Default Can I fix this?

My car is an '07 and I am noticing that one of the headlights is peeling. Is this some kind of clearcoat over the headlight? Is there anything I can do to fix this? Thanks for any suggestions and help.

if the car is still under warranty, id take it to the dealer. however, there are a few methods of removing spots like that from headlights. you could try polishing by hand, polishing with a machine, or wet sanding. theres a few threads around already on these topics, so if you do a search, you should be able to come up with what you need.

Thanks. I did a search and found some info about fixing "yellowing" lights. Would the same method be applicable in my case?

P.S. I fear the dealer. If they install new lights, I have a feeling they will botch something up as well. Sigh.

I bought a set of brand new headlights from Honda about 9 months ago and they are doing this. Subscribed to see if I can figure out how to fix it. It pisses me off cause they wer not cheap.

Mine were doing that and I just hit them with some Menzerna SIP with a green pad and then followed with Menzerna PO85rd on a blue pad and now they are perfect.

So did you use a machine? I'm not very good at polishing using a machine. I don't have any experience at all and am actually kind of scared of it.
