Can You Use Plexus On Paint Work
This site is superb. I have had my S2000 for a couple of weeks now and any issuses I may have had have been cleared by reading posts on this site. I am amazed at how many people there are registered with some really good ideas and thoughts, thanks for all the ideas.
However I have a quick question, I have just ordered some plexus polish from a dealer in the uk and when ordering
i was chatting to the owner. He advised that you can also use this polish on paintwork including new paintwork.
I am still waiting to take delivery of the polish an I am
really just buying for the rear windscreen.
Would you advise using this polish on paintwork, or would this be rather stupid? Unable to find any quotes saying that they use this polish on paintwork.

Why take the chance? The can says that it is for a wide variety of plastic (including painted) but I wouldn't use it on the body of my car. The description on the can makes no mention of such a use. There are a number of excellent polishes and waxes, and if you want something that you can spray on and wipe off for light dust, use Meguiar's Quick Detailer, or something like that. (Or get the Zaino products and use the Z6 for a quick wipe down.)
Are there any problems if, through overspray, I get plexus on the soft-top?? I have just received it and wonder if I am better spraying on to a cloth and wiping the screen.
Any suggestions??
