Thumbs up Car Care

Hi everyone, what kinds of products/brands would you recommend for cleaning your S2000?

Wash

Wax

Cloths for washing/drying/dusting (e.g. microfiber, terry towel, chamois, etc.)

Windows (e.g. RainX, Windex, etc.)

Tires

Rims

Interior (dash, seats, carpet)

Anything else

I use these with Meguiars NXT car wash shampoo and am very satisfied.
For drying I use deer skin, for applying wax and polishing clean soft cotton towel.

Zaino and I use Egyptian cotton towels.

no circular motion when I "wax" the car...front to back on horizontal surfaces and up and down on vertical surfaces.

Wow! You might as well ask what brand of toothpaste everyone uses. You're going to get 100 different answers. The funny part is not one of them will be wrong, because choosing detailing products is all about brand preference, ease of use, shine, durability, budget, and several other factors. I myself use mutliple brands such as:

Zymol
Menzerna
Poorboy's
Detailer's Pride
Meguiar's
Mother's
Sonus
and many many more (please note there is no Zaino on this list. I am anti-Zaino for reasons which have nothing to do with product performance.)

If you want to learn about detailing, get some coupon codes, and read other people's opinoins on products the best places are Autopia and Detail City.
