Which car cover will protect the car the most?
I'm looking to purchase a car cover for my car and I want to make sure the car cover is no harm to the paint. I'm also looking for near perfect fitment cause i do not want the cover to have too much freeplay as the freeplay will cause scratches on the paint. Any suggestions? Thanks.

go for the oem. i persuaded the dealer to throw it in when i purchased my car, so i personally know that this fits perfect. now that i've gotten my kit, it's a little tighter, but i'm starting to do without it. it's also lined with a soft material on the inside, so i'd say oem all the way. also check on ebay. i saw one not too long ago starting at $50, which it retails usually between $160-$180?

i have the Noah car cover and it works ok but when it rains heavily the whole car cover is soaked. what car cover would give total protection for rain? and i think that my noah car cover has gotten a bit dirty.. anyone know how to wash the thing?

the oem is a perfect fit, incredible protection from dings, nice soft padding, but is more of a dust cover than a weather cover. it will not keep out wet. that said, i love mine and have two of them.
it really depends on what you need. i see that you are in so cal, so the honda cover might work for you if your car isnt outside all the time.

Yeah i was looking at the oem dust cover at first, but then realized that its just the dust cover. My car will be outside most of the time, so i don't know if oem dust cover is a good idea.

I've used the Weathershield for two years. I bought it for about $200 new from www.autoanything.com. It's much lighter than Noah, provides great protection against sun and rain, and easily folds into the trunk. You can also wash and dry it in your home machine.
Only problem: it can come off in very high winds (above 50 mph or so)...you can solve that problem with a tie-down cord and lock.
