Carbonfiber care
Should I treat it different than the rest of the body or can I just wash and wax it the same way?
Some porter ay dealership told me that if I go on putting that polish on the cf hood I am gonna take the clear coat off
, not nice.

everything i have read or heard is that carbon fiber can be treated like any other body part...
pretty funny that wax would take clear coat off!! so then why do they think you can wax the rest of the car?
clear coat is just a clear paint like substance that is applied to a body part to give it shine and protection.
so the wax is really not applied to the car, it is applied to the clear coat.
our cars come from honda with a clear coat... and i know you can wax it!

just got an email with more info...
as long as the parts are clearcoated, you can treat them just like any other part of the car.
if not clearcoated, you should be able to wax/zaino, etc.- but DO NOT use polish or any product (or compound) with any grit or cutting material (so i am guessing that swirl removers might not be a good idea either if no clearcoat).
so no clearcoat = no compounds.
but it sounds like you are o.k. since you seem to have clearcoat.
