Default caring for cf under the hood...

Me and my buddy installed my Mugen intake, which I bought used. How do I care for it? Can I just use the same stuff that I use for everything else under the hood? Should I wax it? I saw a thread where a guy used boat polish for his cf hood, but I don't know if the same applies to the carbon on the intake. Thanks for your time.

yup you can use same stuff you use on the paint pretty much...

i wouldnt wax it, but a good synthetic can make sense- wax will evaporate very quickly under the hood... synthetics last a bit longer

Just as a note, Mugen intakes don't have clearcoats.
