cd2 on motorcycle engines?
i know lots of us use cd2 for engine details, and have heard that its good stuff for motorcycles. most guys i know use pig spit... or is it pit snot- not sure since i am new to bike detailing.
am gonna try it out on my harley today, but wanted to see if anyone here has tried cd2 on motorcycles before- and if so, any tips?
assume its o.k. to get on the chrome parts?

Wanabe, I've only used CD2 once, and didn't like it. Mostly because it left everything so oily. I know, you can wipe all that down, but (with a car) there are always places that you can't get to.
I only bring this up because I'd be afraid it would leave residue behind in places you can't get to, like the cooling fins of the motor. Then that residue could act as a magnet for road grime, with the engine being right behind the front wheel like it is.
Just my 0.02 - I've never owned, or worked on, a motorcycle. I'm happy to be proven wrong.

good point krshultz- gonna hold off using cd2
gotta learn bike products anyways so i ordered some
pig snot and also some pig spit
(if anyone is interested in these products, they are both here:

in addition to your concern about the magnet effect, i noticed that most of my engine is chrome- so a product that is more aimed at chrome would prob be better.
