I found some tiny chips on my back bumper yesterday, how the hell do you get chips there?

Doesn't bother me at all but definately got me scratching my head

 

someone bumped you?
rocks from your tires?
where exactly are the chips?

 

No one bumped me, that I'm pretty sure of

It could be rocks, but then the rocks are doing somersaults

The chips are on the back bumper on the same level as where the license plate is.

Anyway, nothing I'm worried about, since whatever happened it couldn't have been prevented, I was just confused as to how they got there.
