Default Clay On Glass

Can you use clay on the windows? Do you lube them the same way? If you use the clay on the glass, will you get the same type of results as you do on the body of the car?
Thanks for the help.

Yep! You can use the same lub on the windows. I clay my car usually every 4-6 weeks, and make sure to not only hit the windows, the but the wheels too. Make sure you clay your car FIRST! Then use that same clay on the windows. Last, use the clay on the wheels. Then, I'd discard the clay. Take a piece maybe 2 inches in diameter (flattened maybe 1/4 inch thick) and use it on the whole car.

You'll notice how awesome the windows and wheels look now

i try to keep two diff clay bars, one for the paint and one for glass and wheels.. you have to be very careful with re-applying a used claybar on painted surfaces as light sracthing and marring can occur quite easily

and not only can you clay glass and wheels, but you can also use synthetics on them too!
have zaino on my glass, lights, and wheels right now (and even have it on the paint!!)

i agree that you want to use separate clay for different areas. i like 3 bars- one paint, one glass, and one wheels... (first i use it on paint, then as it ages it becomes the glass clay, and after awhile that one becomes the wheel clay).

Yeah, I clay the car, then the window, then the wheels, then the exhaust tip. I like to use the clay as much as possible before discarding them, and I haven't seen any negative effects. So clay on!

Though a glass polish is more effective at cleaning up the windshield than clay, in my experience, it's certainly an option.

Clay won't really get the hard waterspots and baked-on road film off the glass, but it will pick up particulates that are stuck on there.
