Default Clay Magic clay bar

Hi everyone. Not a S2K owner but I love the car and think this is probably the best enthusiast stop on the net. Just wanted to say that I tried out the Clay Magic clay bar on my old Altima yesterday and was absolutely amazed. I head read good things about the product here on S2Ki and I was not disappointed. My car is anything but a garage queen(it's an Altima for Christ's sake) and it has seen its share of winter weather and grocery store parking lots. But after spending about 20 minutes claying the hood, it looked and felt like glass! A coat of Mequiars Gold Class and it looked like you could dip your finger in the hood. I was highly impressed. Thanks for all the great info and entertaining discussions. Keep up the good work!

Any polish recommendations? My Nissan is black and has her share of swirl marks. I forgot to mention that I bought the clay bar and a couple of microfiber towels from www.sportscarcare.com and was super pleased with the price and service. I understand the proprietor is a member of S2Ki. He's got my business for good!

Yes, clay bars remove wax. There are variables here like the composition of the clay bar and the type of wax and/or polish but in general they remove wax. Always wash and wax after clay barring to be safe.

After using clay bars on my black S2000, I swore it looked better than it did when it was on the show room floor. This stuff works so well if I had any money I'ed buy stock in company.

I used the clay bar for the first time today and was very pleased with the results. After using the clay bar and one coat of Meguiars Gold Class, the car feels smooth and has a deeper shine to it. I ended up using it on my car, my girlfriend's Civic, and my sister's Maxima all today. I couldn't stop.
But, I think I got my money's woth today.

I've used the clay bar a couple of times. It looks like a bar of soap. Anyway, it always made me a little nervous sliding the bar back and forth with dirts/deposits trapped in it, lest it scratches the paint.

I use clay magic too. The stuff is great. After a wash, clay, wash, wax session my '00 S looks and feels newer than some of the 03s and 04s out on the streets.
