Default Cleaning 2000 rear window

I bought a 2000 S2K a few weeks ago, and I was wondering what I could use to clean the rear window. It is a bit cloudy. Is there anything on the market that is specifically made for this kind of use?

Thanks.

Welcome DOSPOWND,

If you do a search on the site you'll find that many owners here use a product called "Plexus".

I treated my window with it yesterday (the weather was absolutely gorgeous) and the rear window is crystal clear again... I can strongly recommend it!

Regards,

Siepel

If your window is already scratched up and hazy, use some plastic polish and scratch remover first to clear it up before the Plexus as a final step. Once you have it done, put something soft into the roof well where the top goes when it's down. Many of us have also used a static cling window tint on the outside to keep it from damage. You can buy the Plexus at most motorcycle shops and the tint at Home Depot or Auto parts stores. Each tint should last a year or more and you can wash over it and it can get rained on no problem.

HI,

I know that in the Las Vegas market Home Depot has 7oz cans of Plexus on clearance for $4 a piece. It might be the same where you are in Cali.

Later,
Drew
