I don't use anything except a clean micofiber cloth. Unless you have something stuck to it, your not going to need a cleaner. The cloth by itself should get all the smudges and dust off.

thanks all so far for the responses. im still hesitatant to use the microfiber i got so i might not use the zwipes microfiber since those seem cheap. i'll go and get a meguiars one to use. seems a bit thicker and better quality anyways.

is plexus worth the purchase?

I purchased a can of Plexus about a year ago. It's really great. I use it with the cheap pep boys micro fiber towels mentioned earlier. It's really awesome for cleaning the gauge cluster and it really shines up headlights & tail lights. I usually put a coat on all the lights after each time I wash the car.

Also, I don't know if this is a cheap price, but I bought my can at autosupermart.com.

I got this tip from Webdiva - Swiffer Duster for the interior .... works great

I use a pad from the handheld Swiffer Duster by itself to gently dust the instrument cluster. Then I put the pad on the plastic handle and do the dash and the rest of the interior. Works great no scratches and the pad attracts dust like a magnet.

For brick and mortar places, some marine/boating supply places have Plexus, although I don't know if it will be "cheap".
will a spa/pool place have plexus?
