I need better coverage than the 3m, is the venture the same cutout? I'm getting chips at 1/3 of the way up the hood.

no it doesn't..

the lines it leaves are differences in wear of the clear coat. nothing a little buffing can't take out.

there are a few companies that use 52" sheets to do full coverages of bumpers, hoods, fenders.

very nice but very expensive.

we did one using a 42" film for a corvette hood.. but it's not really cost effective.

repaint is generally better than the one tha comes from the factory so I'd not recommend it on these cars.

If it was a ferarri, then yes..$2000 full cover is worth every penny, but honda?? no..

3m and venture film only manufacture the films, it's individual companies like X-pel that make the designs. Differneces in the two films are the thickness, Venture is 6mils, and 3m is 8mils, (my information could be old). So venture was 100% easier to work with in colder environments than 3M film.

I have mostly dealth with x-pel designs and they are very good for most part. they also use their own proprietary film, suppose to be better than 3m and venture.
I do not have any experience with X-pel film however.
