yogi,

i just applied my first coat of 303 protectant, and i believe my top turned quite a few shades blacker then what it was before. before it kinda faded to a dark gray and now its definitely darker from before.

I think that the Ragg Topp foaming cleaner in the can makes the top look darker, as does the protectant. But compared to 303? Who knows for sure without doing a side by side comparison. Autofanatics says that Ragg Topp is their "favorite". That may be the result of a product evaluation, or it may be the result of a profit evaluation.

stupid question...who makes 303 (or is that the company?) and where can i purchase it. I have been dying to find something that works well on the dash! Thanks in advance!

3M makes it and you can purchase it at www.properautocare.com and other onlie sites. You may want to check your local auto suppy store as well.
