Default Cracking leather repair kits

I got quoted for $300 for dying my worn seat bolsters that are cracking.

I'd rather go buy new aftermarket seats for that much...

Anyway, in the mean time, I wanted to try to help ease the eyesore of my cracking leather.

Has anybody tried any of the dying kits. (ebay kits, liquid leather, etc)

I think this would be best..

The before and after pictures of the repair looks great.

The only problem is the company is from New Zealand and you have to send in a sample of your leather to them for color match. (not something I'm interested in doing)

Repair cracked or creased Leather - Using a kit from Leather Magic; wipe the leather down with the solution, using the 220 grit paper, this will remove most of the minor creases. Apply 3-4 thin coats of dye (allow to dry between coats) you have the option to spray the final coat with a sprayer (all included in kit)

I will only recommend what I have first-hand experience of using and those that produce or exceed the results I expect

Thanks. I'll be ordering this.

Do you guys have any suggestions, hints for repairing the cracks?

I have read about a few things:
-clean area with a good cleaner (what kind?)
-sanding down area (about 1500 grit?)
-apply rub in
-apply a top coat (what kind?)
