Default Critique my process please.

My goal is to remove swirl marks.

1. Wash with Dawn.

2. Clay.

3. Wash with Lusso Orro Autobathe.

4. Dry

5. Apply/remove Menzerna Intensive Polish with Uber Orange pad.

6. Apply/remove Menzerna Micropolish with Uber Green Pad.

7. Apply/remove Einszett Glanz with Uber Blue pad.

Any steps I need to add or remove? What about a sealant such as Optimum Opti-Seal?

Products Used

Lusso Orro Autobathe

Adam's Clay Bar and Lubricant

Uber Jumbo Waffle Weave Drying Towel Red

Flex Tool XC 3401 VR

Menzerna IP - Uber Orange Pad

Menzerna Micropolish - Uber Black Pad

Einszett Glanz - Uber Blue Pad[U][U]

i'd add at least one thing: an IPA wipedown after finished polishing.
this will show you if there are any areas you need to go back over (as it helps to remove any "fillers"), and more important (IMO), it provides a better surface for sealants like your 1Z.
because sealants are designed to bond to the paint - not fillers or glazes, you can get much better durability if you ensure the sealant is actually allowed to be applied directly to your cars surface by using alcohol
oh, and be careful with your MF towels after using IPA. i don't think microfiber material likes alcohol much, and i'm always sure to wash my towels right after they have been used with the products.

oh, and personally, i wouldn't worry about opti-seal. theres supposed to be quite a learning curve with it (have to use a very very very small amount, and it'd b easy to marr your soft honda clear coat), and the durability reports aren't actually that impressive. the glanz is supposed to be a pleasure to work with on the flip side.

^ nope it's sold everywhere in different %'s. this is where things get tricky. some peope dilute it down with 50% water. some say the higher the % - the better. personally i'm using 99% as it's the highest i could find, though you could save a few cents and use like 75%. i doubt the difference is really that high, and overall as long as you're removing traces of fillers and oils, i think you're achieving the correct results.

btw, you already order your stuff aznives? how's things going?
