Default Dash Treatment

Just had my dash replaced on my S (06) by the dealer because of bumps all over it (like if it had a rash). They claim that these bumps are a result of the previous owner using Armor All. They told me that Armor All is too strong for the material on the dash and some how causes the layers to separate.

Now I want to apply a treatment to the new dash to help protect it from the sun's UV but I'm not sure what to use. I prefer the natural look of the dash instead of the greasy and shiny look that a lot of these products leave. Any suggestions or recommendations.

Thanks

Sonus has a really good cleaner/protectant/dust repellent that leaves a nice matte finish

Or DP Interior Surface Protectant. I use that and NO shine, made for vinyl and it smells like bananas!

I also agree, that the dealer has no idea what they were talking about. This is a VERY common thing on 06+ S2000's. It is very minor on mine, but noticeable at certian angles. I've had mine since it had 2 miles, and it has never seen or been near Armor all.

Anyways, there are some great products in this thread. The one I prefer is Eagle One 'Nano-protectant'. It can be found at just about any auto store. I've been using it for almost 2 years with great results. No shine, no oily residue and my dash still looks like it did when it had 2 miles on it.
