Default Dashboard problem

I used Zaino Leather Soft spray cleaner on my black dashboard without realizing that my dashboard is vinyl. A day afterwards, I had dark grey areas on the dashboard where I guess the cleaner bleached the vinyl? I can't tell if it is bleached or if it is an oil left behind by the cleaner. I tried a vinyl cleaner on it, but the grey remains. Someone suggested that 303 Aerospace Protectant will make the dashboard black again but I am wary of putting a protectant on it if the grey is realy just Mink oil. Wouldn't that seal it in for good?

You may want to try cleaning it with a vinal cleaner first and get up as much of the leather cleaner as possible.I've seen many products on the market that are conditioners for black vinyl, check out www.properautocare.com they have a few products that may be just what you need.
