Default Dealing with a rock chip ...

I just recently got a rock chip on my hood (which is pretty deep past the primer and to the aluminum) which is pretty large for a rock chip.

I want to fill it up and maybe go over it with a agressive polish so it would at least be level with the other paint around it.

The question is should I use the factory paint touchup brush or the "Chip-Mender brand Touch Up Paint Pen" <http://www.handaaccessories.com/s2000-04.html> I saw on thetz99's write up seemed to use a pen.

Which do you recommend?
Im scared to sand the area so would just a touch up and agressive polish make it turn out fine?

if its a decent sized chip the only way to really make it dissapear is to sand the repair.
we have an excellent write up of the procedure on this board- have you seen it?

another possible choice would be langka (i have not used it and think that the info is at langka.com)

Don't use langka on honda berlina! turns the touch up paint translucent =( It is great at removing overspray though and won't affect the original paint.
