Details - Mini Cooper S / Toyota Forerunner
Detailed a mini cooper s and Toyota Forerunner this past weekend.
I'm really impressed with Clearkote's Vanilla and Red Machine Glaze
By far the best smr's for "mild to medium" to date.
The EASE OF USE and the EASE OF REMOVAL was impressive, and man oh man, did it leave the surface with slickness and "pop"!
I did not worry about the wheels on either car as the mini wheels were being replaced and the owner does not care about the Forerunner's wheels. It was coating the paint he was most concerned over.
Sorry, no before shots, but with 2km's of dirt road to get to the house, you can imagine the condition these two vehicles would be in. Basically, an abysmal condition.
I found after doing the VM, there was already a great shine. But after RMG, wow ! an even better deeper and wetter look.
Mini Cooper S
wash - Poorboys super slick car wash
VM x 1 - orange pad , speed 4
RMG x 1 -blue pad speed 4
WG x 2 - black pad, speed 3
Natty's blue x 2 - by hand

Toyota Forerunner
wash - poorboys super slick wash
SSR 3 in certain spots where swirls and scratches present, w/ pc, orange pad speed 6
VM x 1 - green pad , speed 4
RMG x 1 - blue pad , speed 4
4* UPP x 2 - black pad, speed 3
Natty's Blue x 2 - by hand

I think for those s2000's owners who want to try some SMR work with the Porter Cable the Clearkote and Poorboys line are great due to their ease of use. The VM and RMG equate to Poorboy's SSR1 but add greater depth.
I chose 4* UPP (Four Stars Ultimate Paint Protection) for Silver as that really appears best on silver. Super Slick and the Natty's Blue did not "mute" the slickness. Added wetness bigtime though.
I chose WolfGang on the mini because of the dark colour and topping both with Natty's Blue simply gave it a "glow" a "pop" that the camera cannot due justice.. Again, the Natty's did not "mute" WolGangs' slickness one bit.
I'm interested now to see the durability of WG and 4* over the next few months.
