Default Ding

Son's girlfriend opened door into my covered S and WHACK ! door ding, rear fender well area.
Thought I could push out from inside fender well and oops it's double metal wall thick so I didn't try.
Any body ever use (around here called) the Ding doctor for pushing or pulling out?
The ding did not result in a paint chip and it's not huge you do have to look for it but it still bothers me.

It's pretty amazing what a good ding popper can do. Post up in your regional area for a local shop. GL

Got all five dents in my S2K punched out by the Dent Clinic and I couldn't be happier. When the guy was showing me his work he apologized b/c he said he couldn't get one all the way out, but I couldn't even tell that it was still there. Highly recommend it.

I have a paintless dent repair guy at my work, I've used him on every one of my cars. It's worth it, they take out dings you've never even seen before.

You could always come to the Nor'easter rally in Mystic, CT this summer. Tim (the Ding Man) will be there. He's been doing this as a profession for 15 years and is a freaking miracle worker. He does a lot of work for the New England S2KI club.

He took dings out of my doors, my trunk lid, and even out of the crease in my front quarter panels where the wheel well tucks under and there is a 90 deg. edge. That s$%t is impossible to fix, or so I thought. You can not even tell .. even in blazing sun light. It was truly amazing.

I saw him take out a dent from the top of a 1967 Fiat fender that the owner's ex-buddy dropped a hammer on. The crease was over 2 inches long and pretty deep.

Anyway, it gives you a reason to go to the Nor'easter. Have the son's GF pay for the repair. Guarantee she'll never throw a door open again.
