drying before claying?
Ive always taken good care of my cars, but just recently took it to a new level with the acquisition of a PC and all the odds and ends. So being a newb, question is...is there any point to thoroughly drying the car before claying it? or would it be a waist of time? my only concern was the left over water destroying the properties of the clay bar lubricant.

I don't bother drying the car before claying it. The water on the paint actually adds to the lubrication of the process. It doesn't take away from it. So, it actually allows you to use less QD/clay lube product.
