Default Effective Hand Applied Products

Ok, so a porter cable is on my list of things to buy, but for now I am doing everything by hand. So is there a good light polish (to eliminate light swirls) and glaze that I can effectivly apply by hand?

thanks.

Almost all can be used by hand. Be prepared to sweat and be sore for a few days. By hand it will take hours to do a hood correctly. Ask me how I know

post up in your local forum to borrow a machine and its owner... you supply products and refreshments and they supply know how and the machine
great way to learn the machine and make a new friend!

I tried that and got mixed reactions. We are having a wash and wax day in september so I am hoping to get some help there.

Holy crap. Might as well buy a PC and a polishing kit instead.

Trust me, once you get a Porter Cable you'll be glad you did. It is truly in a totally different league than hand applied stuff. I recommend buying a PC 7336, which you can get at Lowe's for around 100 dollars. Then, throw the pad that it comes with away. Order the Edge Pads set from autogeek for another 100 dollars. Get a claybar kit as well. After this, your car will look better than when it was first bought at the dealership.

A PC 7336? Is there any difference between that and the 7424 model?
