So some local hooligan lobbed an egg onto my '03 (with glass window) a couple of nights ago. It rained early in the morning, so the egg ran down the back left side and pooled there. A bunch of it must have dripped down behind. Everything visible on the top cleaned off very easily, and I tried to let plenty of soap and water run down after where the egg/water mix pooled. There is a noticeable musty smell still in the cabin. Any thoughts on how to pursue the source? Where does water (or egg) go after it gets caught in that channel? As most of the egg was still on the top, I do not think there is too much in there, though maybe it does not take much......

 

In case anyone stumbles across this in the future, I was able to clean it all out with the top partially and fully down. An interesting amount of stuff gets trapped back there, if you have never looked.

 

Yea i've looked down there before and I have seen all kinds of dirt.
