Default Exposed foam behind side windows

Where the upper/back corner of the side windows meets the top, there is a small amount of exposed foam (maybe foam isn't the right word--please feel free to offer a better one). Mine has turned the color of Arizona dust, i.e. light brown. Since it looks quite fragile, I'm wondering how to restore it to its original charcoal color. Has anybody run across this issue and found an acceptable cure?

Sorry if this seems nitpicky, but on my freshly-washed-and-polished car, this bit of foam sticks out like a proverbial sore thumb. Thanks in advance for any advice...

Mike

I've seen this a few times too, and I just tuck it neatly back into place

This happened to my s the first day we had real hot weather. I had to tuck it back in several times before it stayed. Was to the point that if it wouldn't stay, I was going to use some glue. You might try a black magic marker to get the foam back to its original color then use some clear silicone to glue it back in.

Mine came out a bit today and I just stuck it back in but will look at some glue if it happens again.

I got tired of tucking that little 1/2 inch "tail" back in all the time and I just ripped it out. I did this months ago and have driven through rain and have washed the car many times. It didn't seem to miss it.
