Default Is RainX worth it?

Hey..I've used RainX before and it seems to do a pretty good job, except for some odd reason it makes my windshield wipers skip and make a loud noise as its skipping across the windshield. oh yeah, this is on my camaro, not on the S...i haven't put it on yet. I just want to see what everyone else out there in s2k land think of this product.

The whole idea behind RainX is that you don't have to use your wipers because the rain just blows off the windshield as you drive. Unfortunately, if your in stop and go, slow moving traffic, you have to use the wipers. It's probably best just to keep your windshield clean and pass on the RainX. Your wipers will work better that way.

Rain-X is on all my vehicles, and on all their windows!
I just love the stuff.
Yes it is worth it, but it is not for everybody.
I have one friend who seems to get a little sick watching the water drops run up the window.

It's great. My dad introduced it to me and I apply to every 3-4 months.

Have you noticed that the motorhome driving elderly are obsesed with RainX? Dad's collection of RainX includes, RainX liquid, wipes, cream, concentrate, patch, pills and supositories.

RainX is absolutely worth it. I've been using it on my S2000 for almost a year and wouldn't be without it.

If your wipers are misbehaving, then you need Prestone Wiper Blade Restorer. This product is great. My wiper blades were chattering and leaving black build up on the windshield until I used the wiper blade restorer. They work just like they were new, but they are a year old. I also use the same combo on the wife's Odyssey and there again, it works like a champ.

I had polished the windshield and had removed the RainX from a portion of the windshield in a 6 inch circle right in front of my eyes. The next rain, I could hardly see in that little circle, compared to the rest of the windshield, which was still treated with RainX. Needless to say, the windshield was retreated ASAP.

RainX is like my American Express card, I don't leave home without it (on the windows). All of the glass has been RainX treated.

rainx will eventually yellow the windshield, but it would takes years of constant application to do that

The problem with rain-x on the windshield is that is wears away and then you have this kinda streaky half protected half smeared windsheild after a while. You can achieve similar results by waxing your windows.
