Default A few from this last summer

so here are a few from this summer before i stopped taking pics.

First set Lotus, 4k miles, had been poorly polished out after a wetsand. I don't have great pics of the wet sand but.. well...

Process,
wheels with p21s wheel,
tires and wells with p21s TAW
plastic with einszett pastic,
Wash with 2 oz p21s TAW and 2oz einszet glanz in foam canon.
wool mitt,
Clayed with Clay pad,
polished Roof, rear quarters, engine, and bumper with menz sip, 106, apo 60.
Polished doors, front with 106, apo 60
Interior (no pics no time)
Klasse aio on aluminum
1z cockpit premium on other interio
lm soft cleaner on leather
lm leather vital on leather
lm protection cream on leather.

before

Foam canon

After Clay pad and tape.

To the left of the "O" in lotus you can see some wetsand/rub out marks. To the right of the "t" no marks.

only afters

Next up is an S6

This was a polish seal and clean that we ended up doing a compound step on.

Process same as elise but foam gun not foam canon.
polish was SIP, 106 2x fmj

This was the other car we did that day. Full exterior comprehensive.
sip yellow,
sip green
106 blue
fmj
cg 5050.

I only have a before shot, I will see the car soon enough when i do his nsx. I will see if i can sneak a pic then. It was a little after 9:30 pm when we finished that day.

This is how both the s6 and s4 started.

Next up is an acrua TL.
what a PIA to finish down. it was approaching 75 that day with mediocre shade. so like 100+ on paint temp.

Wheels p21s wheel gel,
tires, trim, engine and wells p21s TAW
car was 2oz p21s taw and 2 oz cg super suds in foam gun
clay megs blue
solvent was ppg tar and sap remover
polish was sip green, 106 blue, 85rd blue on orbital fmj x2
interior was prochem ultra pac for the HWE
Leather lm soft, lem leather vital, lm protection, Einszett cockpit premium
Tire poorboys bold and bright
wheels, and lenses wer JW prime

before

After clay and taping

After sealants

More of the Foam canon cosmo.

This paint was not fun, cosmo's never are. It was 90+ sip was acting like a whiny biatch. but we got it done.

The process was long.
normal wash wheels, trim, tires wells. No engine cleaning as directed by the customer. He did remove the rims for mike to detail though. The pain had about 4-400 layers of the turtle wax/zymol cleaner wax on it. With the heat sip would gum up a pad every 3-5 passes on a pannel. Making it absolutely a nightmare to remove.

we left at about 9:00 pm this day after about 5 hours of polishing on a car that had never been detailed.

foamed

after

interior

mikes 3 hour work on fikse's

LOL Phil is a friend and my primary supplier. I am a bit under the weather this week so i am catching up on things to do. One was to join a few forums and post my before and afters for phil.

I also put my 2 cents in as far as detailing and try and help out. <shrug> So which forum do you know me from.
