Who makes the finest polish for a two stage paint?

polish or last stage product (wax/ synthetic protection)?

(btw, i am sure that you must know that the answer will be an opinion!)


here is my car with 3m glaze/ swirl remover for dark cars as the polish and zaino with p21s as the protection:

In least expensive to most expensive order, my picks are:

Optimum Polish, Menzerna FPII, Blackfire Finishing Polish, or Menzerna PO16FF

Completely understand it's a based on personal preference, but heck, just about all these topics are limited to that in many cases.

My curiosity is trying to figure out what polish has the finest abrasive or grit. I'm not so concerned at this point with sealant/wax, but more so the polishing that occurs before protection.

I'd have to opt for the Menzerna PO106FF. It's a fine polish, with some decent cutting power for a finishing polish, but the finish - especially by rotary - is amazing.

Do you know if it's a silca or clay based polish. I know they make some pretty fine graded polish.

It must be pretty fine if it's working in the 3000 grit range. Have you used this stuff? If so, how's the working life?
