Default PC +

Well, I now have two polishing machines - a PC and the new unit from Gtiot's (mine was a special in store offer - new baking plate on a unit used for a demo day). I plan to use our 91 Accord for a learning tool. I use the entire line of Griot's products to polish, wax, and maintain my cars. I post some pictures later.

will be interested in your compar of the griots machine and the pc...

the best way to do this is to use one machine for one half of the car and then the other for the other half... doing one and comparing to your memory of the other isnt quite as accurate.

however you do your review i will be waiting for it!

Yeah that's the best idea. Use one machine on one half and the other machine on the other half. Tape one side off and do the entire half. Then remove the tape and tape off the finished side and do the other half. Take off the tape, apply your favorite wax and park the car in the sun, and take a picture. Show and tell

Although it seems like it has a speed that is way to fast. If its slowest speed is 4000 rpm's... that's gonna bring on a lot of heat so be careful with it.

I've read a few reviews by people who have compared the two. I'm curious to hear your thoughts.

Just out of curiousity . . . if you already had a PC why did you buy the Griot's machine?

It has a different handle on it more of a "D" handle vice one that screws into the side of the unit. It looks more "controlable".

So, you were having trouble "controlling" the PC? What exactly do you mean?

Do you use it with the side handle? If you do it's much easier to use if you remove the handle and just place your hand over the black cover of the machine's head.
