Default First post on Wash N Wax

took some time to wash my car(01) and my buddies volvo 850 today (93)
...his cars paint is in pretty poor condition and i dont have a PC or anything, but i think everything turned out well..

Products used include for exterior :meguirs wash, zymol wax, stoners, plexus, and one spot i used magic eraser to take a little black smudge off car that wouldnt come off for some reason...2 bucket system /w mit..my buddy had this stuff for tires that suposedly keeps them looking nice for "months"...well see about that. . .. he also had a wheel cleaner that i didnt use on my car because its not good for clear coat but his wheels cleaned up nicely.

tips/reccomendations/though appreciated guys

Nice & clean! Word of warning though . . . it says right on the box not to use the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser on painted surfaces.

....yea i read that after i used it .....it was on the very bottom of the car like a 1 inch little smudge....i could feel it and it felt like rubber from the sole of my work shoe or something?...clay wouldnt take it off either......i litterally just went over it 3 times and it was almost gone...then clay took the rest off... in future it wont touch my car

Nice catch!! I didn't notice that. I am going to guess either the previous owner de-badged the side of the car and the dealer put the badges back or that he had some paint work done. A lot of body shops put the S2000 side logo on incorrectly. At least on his car they got it at the right height. I saw a worse one in a thread a few months ago.
