Looks great. I was thinking of using some Gunk for my Jeep engine and bay. Which Gunk products did you use. How did you use them. Spray on and hose off, did you use a power washer. did you use any brushes or cloths. Was the engine cool when you applied. Sorry for all the questions just wanted to do what you did.

I used Gunk original (foam), the Gunk extreme (or whatever) is a gel. Here was my process:

Engine bay was cool
Sprayed all purpose cleaner throughout the entire bay and back side of hood. Let it sit for 10 mins and sprayed off. Resprayed the same areas with all purpose cleaner and lightly scrubbed areas that had caked on dirt with a brush or microfiber towel. Again, rinsed everything off. Sprayed Gunk over the entire bay and let sit for 10-15 mins. Used brush and microfiber towel to eliminate any dirt that was left over. Rinsed the entire bay again for the last time. Lightly hand dried all areas with a microfiber towel. Used Gunk Shine and lightly misted over everything in the engine bay. Used a microfiber towel to mat some of the areas that I felt looked too shiny or had too much "Shine" applied.

I should have prefaced this by saying you need to cover a couple areas before freely throwing water into your bay. I cover the alternator, battery and some other electrical areas. Obviously didn't have to cover the intake due to the snorkel.

I have a standard garden hose with an adjustable nozzle. I use the "shower" and "mist" mode while doing the engine bay.

Hope this helps! Thx.
