I've used the machine just like I would a PC and I have had no issues with it, its a very safe machine.

Metabo is probably the easiest one to use, light weight and great quality and build. Con, alot of people like have the speed dial as a trigger so you don't have to stop the machine and start it up again. However if you get good with it you should be able to control the speed without shutting the machine down. Also at start up it slowly goes up to speed it doesn't start up at 1000 rpm. The price is high but in my opinion worth it.

Makita is a bit heavier but great for the price and a ton of guys use it.

Dewalt if heavy and clumsy...I haven't used mine in a while.
