I wish I had a permanent hose so I could buy one, right now due to water restrictions my complex has "closed down" the car was station so I'm forced to manually wet the car, wash, and manually rinse. It's not that great but it's better than letting the dirt pile up

to the guy who uses the ortho sprayer...how do you get the tube that goes into the bottle to stay on? I managed with it, but it was far from easy to manage. I may just glue it on...

The one I purchased the suction tube was pre installed. I didn't have to mess with it. Make sure on the one you have the suction tube has not snapped off inside. Do you have the same one?

Thanks.

So with any concentrated soap, what is the process?

Pour in the foam gun bottle and then mix w/ water? Or make a mixture and then pour in the gun bottle?
pour the shampoo into the foamers bottle- you can set the desired dilution ratio on the gun

great info here (but note that our sponsor's price is much less than this one):

Can someone comment to the differences between the two Foamaster foam guns available? What's the difference (they certainly look differe - and not just the logos on the bottle. Look at the fittings.)?

From SuperiorCarCare - Foamaster (and similar to other online detailing retailers I've recently used)...

From Detailer's Domain - Foamaster II...

I would also add to the list that Optimum Car Wash foams REALLY well. I just got a foam gun myself.
I was reading up on the Chemical Guys Citrus wash and Gloss and noticed that in their description they said "hyper-concentrated wash+gloss is the ultimate surface prep paintwork cleanser, shampoo and gloss enhancer in one". Is this stuff too strong for weekly washing if i want to preserve the wax/polish/sealant/glaze?? Or should this stuff only be used when doing a full detail?? thanks

I have the first one, I purchased min a year or so before phil started carring them. The lower one is an updated sprayer with a dial for dilution versus a slider bar that allways slides or spins out of the way. thus stopping the flow of foam. That could be because i have used mine almost daily for 18 months plus.

Yes this is a revised version of the first one. Pretty much what Grouse said.

You have to use a HIGH concentration of the soap before it will strip your LSP. If you read the bottle it says something like 2 (or maybe more) ounces of soap in one gallon of water.

I think it's really true of any car wash soap that if you use it in a high enough concentration that it will strip your LSP.
