Default getting started in detailing

Hi I just got my s a couple months ago. The guy I bought it from worked at a junk yard so it a couple pieces taken from other cars that need some tlc. My wife wants to get me a porter cable polisher. I usually have just taken all my cars to get washed before but I want to get into detailing my own stuff now. Any advice on what brand polisher, chemicals, would be greatly appreciated.

The Porter Cable is a great machine to learn polishing on.

Our sponsor, detailersdomain.com, is a good place to get some great deals on supplies. The prices are very very fair, and the service is top of the line.

clay, soap, pads, polishes, whatever you need to detail, he has it.

a good wax thats durable and will last a while is collinite 845.

the menzerna polishes are some of the best in the world, and his pads and microfiber towels are great.

any questions, dont be afraid to ask.

also, check the stickies out on top for the MikeyC detailing guide. this will help you out a lot as well.
