Driving to NC on monday. Just wondering what a good temporary protection for the front bumper is from rocks and bugs while I drive. Would like to maybe tape it up or something, so I can remove it after I drive back. But I'm not sure if there's a special tape I could use, perhaps one that won't leave a sticky film all over the car, or if there are any products that would help.

Not interested in a bra, or anything permanent.

Blue painters or Green automotive tape.

 

Cool, thanks. I saw a guy who sold his 350z put a bunch of blue tape on the front of his Z, but I wasn't sure if it was painters tape or not. Unable to locate the thread though...

 

YEP WOrked out just fine for me when drove from Arizona to Mass. Tape was on for 6 days...... Thru rain, snow and ice storm.

As funky as it looks, this tape deal is functional, as on long trips, the dead bug thing is old, but most importantly, the chips from little rocks is what makes this total sense
