Default was it a good choice?

ive been polishing and waxing by hand for awhile now using products like autoglym, 3m polish and pinnacle wax..and decided to dive into a pc and try this menzerna stuff..... im reading alot of mix reviews about this pc not being powerful enough to tackle moderate swirls...what do you guys think?what to expect?

i think bs...

there are other choices, but the pc is fine for light, moderate and heavy swirls. it can tackle light scratches too.

coupla weeks ago my daughter ran her car along a concrete pillar in her parking garage. horrible scratches- not gonna lie, the pc wasnt the best took, but its the one i had most handy when she dropped by the house- after several hours of top speed and aggressive polishes and i had those things knocked down- yes they are still scratches, but they dont show. a rotary would have been a better tool, but the pc did fine.

its not the fastest choice, but it is one of the safest- and a great place to start for a beginner, imo.

The PC will work perfectly fine on the S2000's paint. It is very soft and doesn't require a whole lot of force to correct. That kit you linked to is good, however, I would probably pass on the glaze and the MF bonnets and spend the extra cash on more towels, pads (preferably orange and white), and a good wax. Use SIP with the orange pad, and 106FA with the white pad and you should be fine.

The glaze is a good product, but glazes are meant to fill and hide defects in the paint temporarily. They are good for people who don't have the means to polish out their paint, and still want a good looking finish, but if you have a PC and some quality polishes, then a glaze becomes unecessary. Also, waxes bond better to bare paint than they do to paint topped with a glaze...
