I'm getting my 03 S2K hopefully this week and I have all the cleaners I need except for some polish for the rims. What do you guys recommend? TIA

 

Zaino - take the rims off and coat them with at least five coats

any carnuba wax will wear off quickly because of the heat from the brakes etc

 

i dont recommend any polish unless you have stains on the wheels. polishes contain some grit (sometimes very fine)- grit does take down the clear coat (which you have on the wheels too).
i like to use a detailer's spray on the wheels (and i have zainoed them too). my wheels get washed with the car, and then about a week later they get a detailer's spray to clean them up again... the spray contains some carnuba- as long as i hit them every week or so they stay new looking.

 

I've also Zainoed my wheels. If you want a metal polish, Green Stuff works quite well, and a little goes a LONG way.

Zymol wheel coat will help keep brake dust off, to some degree...

 

greatest stuff ever invented for wheel polish is the nevr dull (sic) i think thats what its called.. its in a little tin can and its basically a wad of petroleum distillates but it works like magic
