Got my PC this week...
So I just finally got around to purchasing a PC polisher(the one at Lowes for $89.99
) and now I need a pad kit. Is the Edge kit worth the money? I don't mind spending that much if it is worth it. Also, if it is worth it where is the best place to buy it? I have seen it for $99.99. Is that a good price?
I am new to this level of detailing so excuse my noobness
Thanks in advance

The Edge pads are highly praised by MikeyC, as well as many other W&W Wackos here. If price wasn't that much of an issue with me I would've gotten them rather than the Sonus SFX pads. Autogeek.net sells the whole set plus some extras for $99.99. Use the code 'clubmember' during checkout to get a 10% discount as well.
The liquid wax will work just fine with the PC. Just apply it on the blue or white Edge pad (if you end up getting them) and wax away!

Hi Brandon,
As already noted, I am a big proponent of the Edge 2000 pad system. It's a very unique system compared to it's competitors in that it doesn't use velcro. Plus all the pads are two sided.
There are a lot of advantages this system has over traditional velcro backed pads. However, the biggest difference and one of the most notable is the reduced vibration.
Edge 2000 pads because of the way they attach to the PC are perfectly centered automatically each time. Velcro pads on the other hand take more effort to center and never seem to center perfectly no matter how hard you try. Having the pad perfectly centered noticeably reduces the amount of vibration you experience with the machine. This is a huge advantage because when you do a full detail on your car you may be using the machine for 4-6 hours. My hands used to go numb from the vibration when I was using velcro pads.
There are a lot of other advantages to this system. Most of which are detailed on the company's website Edgepads.com.
Also, you can absolutely use your liquid wax still. You will definitely want to look into getting some polishes to use with your machine as well to get best results. The only place you can really find decent polishes locally are at a paint & body shop supply store. Otherwise, you'll need to order them on-line.

I have been using Meguirs liquid wax by hand. Will this work well for the PC or should I look into other options?
